School to School Support

National, Local and Specialist Leaders of Education and Governance

Futures Teaching Alliance can offer school to school support to primary and secondary schools locally and nationally. Our role is to explore what specific bespoke support is needed for the commissioned school and then identify appropriate staff from across our MAT and alliance to implement the support. 

Futures Teaching Alliance continues to provide school to school support as part of the vision for a self-improving school-led system. 

We have the experience and expertise to support schools with whatever challenges they may face, from improving student progress and outcomes to developing pedagogical practice and coaching.

Support will be provided through deployment of: 

• National Leaders of Education (NLEs) National Leaders of Education (NLEs) within FTA are Executive Headteachers who have experience of effectively supporting schools in challenging circumstances.   
• Local Leaders of Education (LLEs)  Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) within FTA are Headteachers of OFSTED Outstanding Schools who have three years experience of effectively supporting schools in a range of contexts.
• Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) & Lead Practitioners are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools and across a wide variety of specialisms. They understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like and are skilled in helping other leaders to achieve it in their own context.
